BOOKING & RENTAL : All you need to know

YOUR BOOKING

·        Your booking is valid as far as you sent the deposit to SKI SHOP.

·        Your equipment is booked on conditon that it is available in the shop.

·        Your equipment is ready and available at SKI SHOP as soon as you arrive or the day before your booking at the end of the afternoon.

·        If you are late, please inform SKI SHOP : 04.50.74.10.19

·        If you didn't come at SKI SHOP on the day of your booking, your equipment will be back in the stock. Your booking will be honoured if available.

·        Your equipment can be change at any time during your stay if it's not convenient or if you want to test an other one, if an other equipment is available. (you won't be charged more if it is the same category of equipment).

·        Our team is there to offer you the best service.

 YOUR RENTAL

  • Your skis or snowboard, in any range, are from the year or very recent. They are prepared all the season long and regularly waxed or sharpened.
  • We choosed for you the best equipment in our selected suppliers : ROSSIGNOL, DYNASTAR, SALOMON, VOLK, MOVEMENT, VOLANT, APO, DALBELLO, TECNICA, LANGE, etc...
  • Your boots are dried and disinfected after each rental.
  • Our professionnal team adjust your bindings according to the norms. It is important for your security not to change the bindings adjustment.

 

TERMS OF HIRE

1. The equipment is hired out in proper working order and adjusted to the client needs at the Ski shop.
2. Any modification to the adjustments of the bindings made by the client will render the clien tfully responsible for those modifications.
3. The price includes :

  •   The maintenance of the hired equipment, execpt waxing,
  •   The pair of sticks

4. The price indicated on the board is paid in full.

5. The lost or disappearance of equipment cannot be covered by insurance. Theft and damage or breakage may be covered by insurance (except for boots, sticks, helmets, sledges and snowshoes).
6. In the case of loss of equipment, the client will accept to pay the full cost of the lost equipment. If the client has not taken out insurance cover, he will accept to pay for the full value of lost, stolen or damaged equipment.
7. In case of theft, loss or damage, the client will accept to pay on top of the cost, the equipment itself, the rental due from the first day of contract to the day that decleration of loss, damage or theft, is officially made.
8. in case of theft, the client must borh lodge a complaint with the competent authorities (tne “Gendarmerie”) and fill in a special form entitled “Déclaration de sinistre” available from the Ski shop office.
9. When insurance cover is taken out, the insurance policy nevertheless includes a compulsory excess claculated as follow :

  • Junior category : 23 €
  • Category * 46 €
  • Category ** 76 €
  • Category *** 107 €
  • No insurance for the prestige category ****

10. the client declares that he has been duly and fully informed of all the prices concerning the hiring out of equipment.
11. The hired equipment must be returned to the Ski shop during opening hours.
12. in the event of any dispute, the sole court deemed competent will be the law court of Thonon les bains, or the legal one of the district of Avoriaz, France.
